Those are charming.  The "old fashion" is much more compact in shape and slow growing.  I haven't even had to prune it yet and this is it's second year blooming.  It puts on a really nice show.  The varigated is still a baby and didn't put out any blooms this year.

these are all pictures of the same bloom.  this is the first time they have bloomed and they've been in the bed 4 1/2 years.  i was telling tina that maybe they needed divided or something.

Oh I love all of the gorgeous blooms.  I would have a rose that color Jenn.  If you spilt the iris, I would not mind some.  I am seriously missing some of the plants I lost at the old place and it does not appear that I have iris or day lillies here and need to fix that soon.

i've been seeing some of those ivory colored irises around town.  It's a very unusual color.

Triss I have some of the pale white shading into pinkish purple irises and some of the light purple irises that will need to be divided this fall.  If you are interested I could send you some.  You could use them for trade items if you didn't want them in the garden.

I want confederate jasmine.  The road cut mine down before I could save any.  It's hard to find this year.

I'm going to keep looking for the jasmine.  It's usually easy to find around here but so it dusty miller and I had to look and look for that and the dill seeds.  I couldn't find dill or parsley this year.

I've tried my usual places.  Lowe's told me they're not keeping much of a stock of anything these days.  I've been to two nurseries and 1 didn't have any seeds at all.

I would love any Jenn and Tammy.  Thanks.  I do have a new address... we actually get mail to the house here.  I will have to pm it to everyone.

And I have spring blooms...

The dogwood tree is stunning... I have never had one of these.

And we have columbine along the edge of the parking area in front of the house.

Not too sure what these white flowers are but I have seen them a lot in this area.

Ok Triss I've got you down in the calendar for October.  Send Irises.  Of course you may find some blackberry lilies in there.  I've got them interspursed with the irises.

That works as well.  I had to leave behind all of my bulb plants and need to restart with them all.  Iris, lillies, daylillies and daffodils.  There seem to be no bulb plants here at all, or very few that look like they were dropped by birds rather than intentionally planted.

That columbine is so pretty Triss.....are you looking to start things from seed, or bulbs mostly?

I'd prefer bulbs so that I can have flowers faster.

I found more blooms today...

This clematis vine is on the light pole that lights up the basketball area.

The flower is a gorgeous purple.

One lone purple columbine plant that will be moved to join the pink ones.

A bleeding heart plant

And the pretty flowers

Missed one... Bluebells.  These are out behind the kids play area and will be moved to a spot they can be seen.
