Banana Torte
2 cups flour
1 cup chopped nuts (I used pecans)
2 sticks butter - softened
8 oz. cream cheese - softened
2 cups powdered sugar
8 oz. cool whip
2 small packages banana instant pudding (or use chocolate if you want chocolate torte)
3 cups milk
Mix flour and nuts. Cut in butter. Press into 9 x 13 pan and bake at 375° for 15 minutes. Let cool completely.
Mix cream cheese and powdered sugar. Blend into cool whip. Spread over cooled crust.
Whisk pudding and milk for 2 minutes until thickened and pour over top of cream cheese mixture.
Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.

It is simple and good. My kind of dessert. I was thinking that a layer of sliced bananas might be good in there too.

This has been a family favorite (made with chocolate) for as long as I can remember. It's even better the next day...if there is any left.
