Topic: I have never been afraid

I have seen a few spirits, like the one I posted about in the Ghost Stories section "the ghost in the stairwell" that were really pleasant, but I have experienced some positively evil and sickening experiences...but the thing is I have never been afraid - I think the scientist in me keeps me inquisitive and the teacher in me makes me fearless (I like to see the spirits tackle my 7th graders!).

I could say that I have never been afraid, but I'd be lying, Damien. I have been scared spitless several times with my encounters. I would enjoy the pleasant encounters, like when my mother told me "good-bye", but the demonic scares the beejeebers out of me. If we were to do an investigation and ran into something evil, I would beat everyone home! 

Seventh graders are a scary bunch, aren't they? Not quite "grown-up" and not still a child, they are enough to scare anyone or anything...

Fortunately I have never seen anything that made me afraid, and I hope that I don't. However, I would love to hear about your experiences as well as your opinion on phychics and anything else of the paranormal nature.

I agree with AB.  I've not had an experience even similar to the one you posted about in the other topic.  I have a very keen interest though and tend to try and apply logic to most situations so I guess there just isn't room to think about being afraid.

We would love to hear about your other experiences.

I havent seen anything that would make me afraid.....so far.......and i'd like to keep it that way!!!

Same here Penny but my uncle tells of true tales that scared the cr@p out of me as a child.

I used to be scared of 'things that bump in the night' or 'what's under the bed' as a child from those stories. I'd like to think that most encounters are pleasant.

I can honestly say that I have never had an encounter that has really scared me, mine have all been pleasant or neutral.

The only time I was affraid was when I was pretty small and the very thick fog ghost was in my room and I tried to scream for my mom and no voice came out .. *I even had garlic in my window* after it passed I ran right into my moms room! 
But I was little!

I don't think I was too happy about it... but knowing what I seen stuck with me!!  wish I could go back and investigate
