Hurricane Lillies.. very pretty.  I was going to plant some Morning Glories on my dogs' fence line when I first moved here but someone told me they were poisonous to dogs... so I didn't. My dogs would be sure to munch on them.
Dear Lord, On this day, please wrap your arm around my shoulder and keep your hand over my mouth.  Amen

I am very glad my dog only munches on grass on occasion. I have poisonous plants all over.

My dogs, though they are supposed to be in the top 10 of smartest breeds, will eat anything. I remember freaking out one time 'cause Raphie was foaming at the mouth... then I realized he had caught a frog. Ugh.

i've never noticed dodge, but if they are, you'll get some!  and today, i came home to what can best be described as a "swath" of red...

this is right by the walk i walk to my front door.  please disregard the weeds, i live in a more "natural" state than i'd like but it is what i can do.

i should have said that this picture is the closest to the actual color that i've been able to take.

yes, more weeds than flowers, but it's ok.  the flowers make life fun.  silent singing by mother nature.

thanks jess.

weeds are flowers.
well, some of these are.  they are blackberry canes that escaped. and some are native, or naturalized grass.  no matter, they are there.

My hubby says ALL FLOWERS ARE WEEDS.

He does like mine tho.. My Lily patch is a Show stopper in my yard.. Neighbors dig out the bunoculars to see them.

Some smell heavenly.

If you do get seeds I'd be in the market for some too.  Just a thought.  I'm moving my purple irises up to the driveway bed so I'll have room for reds, oranges, and yellows down by the house.
