remote viewing
« on: Aug 08, 2006, 10:21:35 PM »
I watched a program on TV today about remote viewing. I didn't get to see everything because Trent was talking a mile a minute, but what I did see was pretty interesting. Does anyone know anything about the subject?

I have spotted a couple of on-line remote viewing sites on the computer a time or two. Looks like that have a camera set up somewhere and just give you the link to watch. It looked pretty interesting to me...

This was an experiment. They had about 12 people in one location and a girl on a motorcycle riding through a town. The 12 people went into a meditative state and did a remote viewing by tuning into the person on the motorcylce and tried to pin point her location.  Then they drew pictures of what they had seen. Pretty impressive results.

That is totally different from what I thought you were talking about...

Sounds interesting, though...

So how did they prime the 12 people to think of the girl on the motorcycle?? Did they just say think of a girl, or did they have a picture, or did they know the girl on the motorcycle?? Sounds like an interesting experiment but I don't know enough about it to ask too many more questions.

Thought I would bump this topic because I didn't know much about this when Aunt Bonnie started the topic.  I get a weekly newsletter called eSkeptic and there was an article that had a special presentation about Remote Viewing on YouTube.  Thought I would share it as I think it really opened my eyes.  Comments anyone?

Comments anyone?

This is an example of another post that I "meant" to get to when I had more time, then promptly forgot about it. Oh, well. Better late than never, right? ;)

I found these experiments very fascinating, to say the least. Very intriguing to me and I would love to try this sometime.

I think it would be a very good experience, for all who are interested, to research a little more so that we can try this as a group.

I am e mailing you a manual on how too. Look it over and let me know  what you think. I think it would be nice to participate as a group too.

I just downloaded the manual. Thank you, Aunt Bonnie! :-*

I don't have time to really look it over right now, but will find some time in the morning. It looks like a very interesting manual...

I'm in.  Both as sender and receiver.  Can I read the manual too?

The closest I've ever come to this is knowing when a close friend was sick when they weren't close by.  But that's not the same thing.

Here is the Remote Viewing manual that Aunt Bonnie found online.  I'm not sure all the links work when you view with Adobe.  This is a PDF file.  Just click the link to download.

There, you should be able to see the link now.  I had disabled attachments for everyone and forget to make it available after posting this one.  It's in my previous post with a paperclip beside it.

Sorry about that.

I was reading about bilocation this afternoon and ended up with a remote viewing explanation. I thought this information was very interesting.

Interesting info Dianna.

What do I have in mind? Good question, as I have never done anything like this before. I sorta thought that one of us could select a picture, and we could chose a time for all of us to meditate and see if we can come up with something.

What do you think? Suggestions Please.
