60 Minute Rolls

60 Minute Rolls
·   4-5 cups flour
·   3 tablespoons sugar
·   1 teaspoon salt
·   2 (1/4 ounce) packages yeast
·   1 cup milk
·   1/2 cup water
·   1/4 cup butter or margarine

Warm milk, butter and water.  In a bowl mix flour, sugar, salt and yeast.  Add liquids to dry ingredients and knead together.  Let ride for 30 minutes.  Shape into rolls and bake at 350 for about 15-20 minutes or until browned.

Mmmm. Do you make these dinner roll sized or kaiser roll size?

I have all the ingredients and I'm out of bread maybe I'll do these tomorrow.  It will depend on how I feel.  Right now my gut is giving me trouble.

I don't tolerate medicines very well and the extended release metformin is giving me trouble.

I would love some yummy rolls.  I'll have to see what I can manage.  Can I use powdered milk for the recipe?

I would imagine so.  Just liquefy it first.

Ok next question.  Do you use the regular dry yeast or the rapid rise dry yeast.  I have much better luck with the rapid rise.
