Topic: Rahn's Greenhouse 2011 (plus other plants)

Ellie and I made our annual trip.  this is the haul.  except i did take one photo of the cactus they have there, it was blooming.  i discovered they have 2 of them actually.  one hanging, one sitting.

we did get 2 cheap (one was 50 cents, one was a dollar) veggie plants - a six pack of cucumbers and one eggplant


ellie had to have another mandevilla, she really wanted red but the pink ones looked better


some kind of impatiens and an ivy geranium.


i don't remember


the cannas were glorious


and she had to have the ageratum. it was really blue.  true blue


she liked the mexican petunias, and mine didn't tolerate the snow well, so she got her some (and shared with me)

and she got her red mandevilla because i went to walmart the next day and they had marked down their red ones..
this is 2 together that completely filled the buggy.  one for her and one for me.  they were $11 each.


and the rose i got from kate for mother's day.  it needs replanting but at least its not in a dying position right now.  it is in the pot with the mexican petunia i got from grandmas last year

The unknown is pentas. Or penta. Great plants and lots of color.

they told her that the butterflies like them.  she was happy.  she liked the color
