Dobermans
« on: Jun 25, 2011, 05:02:45 PM »
Hello all !!

I am thinking of getting a Doberman and have done my research. I was just wondering if any of you have one?  My aunt does and she loves it!

I have found a rescue that loves cats dogs chickens kids, etc. So it will fit into our household it also has a laid back personality. Which i love!

Thanks all!!

ariel, i do not have a dobie, but had a friend who did and that dog was on the order of pit bulls.  the sweetest, most well behaved dog i've seen.  bad reputation, good dog.  if you've found one and can give it a good home, i'd say go for it!
My friends here are some of the kindest on earth :kissies:

My ex had dobies. They were well trained as guard dogs and scary. Until they got to know you. Then they were sweethearts.
Friends are like bras, close to your heart and all about support

Thanks everyone!! I hear they get a bad rep. I hear it is how you train them, The purpose would be for a guard dog if some one turned hostile. So after i get married we might be getting a addition to our furry family!

We had 2 of them, gentle, even 2nd one given to us was gentle.

Very good with other animals and kids.

Dobermans are gentle, not mean, unless trained to be mean or guard dogs, or have stupid owners.
