Try blueberry "boy bait", also called blueberry buckle. It's a HUGE hit around here.

We also use them in smoothies a lot, and mixed with peaches in a crisp. I've made blueberry BBQ sauce a time or two as well...it was great with chicken. :)

This is embarrassing.  I have blueberry bushes and no recipes with blueberries.  I guess I need to get to looking for some too.

I used to have a recipe for a chicken blueberry salad that was low fat.  I think I got it on this website or the other garden website.  I'll have to look around.  Or maybe I got it from church.

Low-Fat Lemon Blueberry and Chicken Salad

Makes 4 servings

2 cups Fresh Blueberries, divided
3/4 cup low-fat lemon yogurt
3 Tbsp Reduced-calorie mayonnaise
1 tsp salt
2 cups cubed cooked chicken breasts
1/2 cup sliced green onion (scallions)
3/4 cup diagonally sliced celery
1/2 cup diced sweet red bell pepper

TO PREPARE:  Reserve a few blueberries for garnish.  In a medium down, combine yogurt, mayonnaise and salt.  Add remaining blueberries, the chicken, green onions, celery, and bell pepper; mix gently.  Cover and refrigerate to let flavors blend; at least 30 minutes.  Serve over endive or other greens.  Garnish with reserved blueberries and lemon slices, if desired.
