My four-legged babies
« on: Jul 19, 2007, 05:34:29 PM »
This is Abigail, the great dane...

And Kricket, the daddy's dog...

Sully, our "ghost" cat...he never allows Mike or I to see him, only the girls. I get an empty food bowl, and a used litter box...that's it. :laughmao:

Odelle...remind me to tell you her story.

Meow meow, my garden kitty...

Let's see...I'll need to get pics of Duke, the bird; the freshwater tanks, Vanna, the cat; Isabelle, the new puppy, the finches in their antique cage...I think that's everyone.

Abigail looks like she ran into a Dalmation and stole the spots! :)

Has Kricket got eyes under all that hair? ;D  What kind of canine is she?

Sully's box would be the girl's responsibility if he wouldn't put in an appearance for me. After a couple of days not getting what he is used to getting, he would be purring all over you and Mike! ;)

Odelle is a beautiful cat. Here's your reminder: Sarah, please tell us Odelle's story... ;D

Meow Meow looks like she is happy out there in the Garden of Eden. But then, who wouldn't be? :)

And yes, we need to see pics of the rest of them. You don't want them getting jealous, do you? :grinnnn:

Are you kin to JV, the critter keeper? I think you have as many, if not more, than he does! :laughmao: Beautiful babies, Sarah!

What a pretty bird! It is so bright and beautiful. Is that another bird I see in the cage? My brother had several birds at one time...

Chinchilla? Wow! I think it would be neat to have one of those. Are they like hamsters? Fred looks like a bigger version...

Sarah, you have some mighty beautiful critters there, but I think Sully is my favorite.  Of course, I've always be partial to cats, although I love all critters; however, the   squirrels are questionable some times.   :tickedoff: :)

This is Vanna:

She was in pretty rough shape when I took her in. She feels MUCH better now!

This is the new puppy, Isabelle

Not the best picture, but she refuses to hold still for a better one. :grinnnn:

Sarah, Vanna, is beautiful!  Actually, she looks like a white, fluffy cotton ball.  ;) Is her fur as soft as it looks?

Geesh, Isabelle, is quite big for a new puppy!  :ScratchHead: Actually, Sarah, she looks like a real sweetheart with a lot of love to give.  :)

I think it's SOOO funny that Vanna moved to another spot after you took her pic! :laughmao: Sitting there on the bannister post, she reminds me of those big cat statues that guard the Egyptian pyramids! (But she always has that "BUG OFF" look on her face!)

More from the many moods of Vanna:

Decorate? You want to decorate? I don't think so!

And finally a good shot of both dogs:

Thank you Penny. Vanna is a very good cat for being someone else's throw-away. Can you believe someone just dumped her in the woods? :Vent:

Tonya, isn't that look great? :laughmao: She is the most expressive cat I've ever had. She sure lets her feelings be known.

Isn't Vanna's life rough? If only we were all this relaxed.

And, finally a shot of Odelle with her eyes open!

Well, Sarah, Vanna could certainly be the poster cat for contentment!  ;)  I wish my life was that peaceful and relaxed.

Queen Odelle, seems very settled on her throne and looks like she would not take kindly to anyone trying to dethrone her!   :smileyNo:

Tonya, my best cats have been adults that I rescued. They are already litter trained, and seem to know you saved them. Every last cat I have gotten as a kitten has been a pain. Look at Sully, for example...the ghost cat. Nothing bad has EVER happened to him, yet he doesn't trust people. :razberry: Yet, all three girls have had a bad time of life, before coming to live with me, and all three are loves. :Yahoo:

We bought all the dogs stuffed toys this week. Izzy the destroyer has started on the last survivor...

Who, me?

And then Vanna came along, to be offended that the dog would dare lay on HER rug...
