that is pretty Christy! I am not ready to attempt that yet Christy but am enjoying getting everything ready to put together
Yeah didn't even thing of pictures when I was putting it out for pattern Triss!!
I was more worried about hurrying up so that the boys would not come running through and wreck everything!!
Good luck on getting your machine fixed up Triss! I don't think I could attempt it by hand denim is just too thick.. do you have a Jeans Needle your using?

Christy, that is so beautiful! Love it!
I am just using a needle I grabbed outta my sewing box. The basting part was not too bad but I tried backstitching with it and everything is all crooked. I will be stopping by MIL's this weekend to get my machine.

Excellent idea, Rita!! I am so gonna have to get motivated to do one.....I am no good at sewing anymore- I used to do it all the time, but not I can't even get myself motivated to get started. I used to make clothes and everything.

That is so awesome Rita, you sure did a good job of it!!! I cannot wait to see how that looks cuz I have not seen one done with the jean side being the one with the seams.

Oh that is a great idea! Of course using a leg means less squares for a quilt.

True but I have more than enough pants (they are free even if the bottoms have the slightest bit of wear) so I just thought it would be a more complete thought.

All of that sounds good Rita... On my wish list is one of those machines that will do embroidery designs. Then I can put pics for the kids on the squares of material, or their names... I think that would be so much fun so I am asking for one for my Christmas/Birthday present.
I am gonna get my machine tomorrow and find the part I need to get it fixed. And a table so I can set it up in the bedroom.

I use my coffee table! It is a crazy set up!!
you don't remember which part ya need?
My grandfather used to fix all mine up all the time when he was alive.. but he taught me a lot about how to keep my machine up.
I used to have one of those Triss.. Fun but a pain all at the same time (at least for me) I just never had time to practice and get it right!

Do you mean a computerized machine, Triss? Those are awesome. I want one. The prices are coming down some on them too. They used to be an arm and a leg. Now they are just a leg.
