a checkerd bord pattern would be easy, or a all same pattern, [cant remember the name for the all the same pattern] but its were ya use one hole pice of fabric for the top, samwige it with the battin n back, then quilt it, those are nice too, if ya just want the quilted look. poeple have bought a bed sheets n done that, my aunts have when we were younger, they used a old blanket for battin,

helps make a old wore out blanket look good again

I really like that last one Christy. Looks so much like winter to me. I can see it with shades of blues and silver in deep rich tones, very much like the colors you used. I think I am gonna look for material for one like that for my next quilt project after I do the one I have waiting.

It is going to be a while. I am working on birthday scarves right now and a couple baby blankets. Then I am on to Lys' quilt. I will get there though, I have the pattern tacked up to my wall so I can think about the color scheme as I work in there.

i know whatcha mean triss, i gotta long list of things i wanna do, i might make a few as throws cause it takes so long for me to do a bed cover.

i made a bootie today! well started it i just basted it together to see waht it looked like n to try it on to see if it fit, so far so good, now i gotta take it apart n do the batting n back in it

see it fits

bb had to get her foot in there too

i just wanted to see if i could do it, now i gotta get back to my quilt

the bootie pattern was easy to do, n woulda been alot faster if i woulda used one pice of fabric instead of crazy qiultin it, ill find it n put it in the help info topic

I'm in the process of making a bonnet to match an outfit I bought for Lil' & now I'm hoping that I have enough of the fabric left over to make her some matching slippers too!

Rita, I really love that quilt.

I wish I had the time to devote to it, but it seems there just aren't enough hours in the day. I used to love to go out to the Shrine or over to church and help the ladies quilt.
