Look, I know the supernatural is something that isn't supposed to happen, but it does happen...RZ

Thanks Wrennie, I really like the two toned ones the best.  Seem to have quite a bit of character to them.

Then give one of them for the sea auction thingy. If theyre youre favorite someone else may like it best too.
Ya know, they'd be cute in variegated yarn too.

Oh that is a good idea!  I have to check my stash for some variegated yarn.  Dunno if I have any.

I think I am going to give the oranges one to the auction.  The purple is going to go to the 6th grade teacher who is pregnant with a girl.  The afghan I am working on for her is also in the purple shades.

I finished up the afghan last night for our 6th grade teacher.  Here it is along with the matching hat and purple octopus.

Thanks Tina.  I am working on the same colors as the afghan octopus.  If I get that done this weekend, I may trade them out.

Finished up two more projects.

This one is headed down to Patty for Lincoln and Kari.

And this one is headed to school for the sister of the baby who got the purple afghan set.  She fell in love with the purple octopus and I wanted her to have her own.

Now you are gonna make me tear up.  I was happy to do them and hope they love them.

I have 2 new blankets going, a yellow one and a blue.  One of the two will be probably be for my niece.  I am leaning to the yellow since they do not know if it is a boy or girl but I may wait and see for sure.

Those are cool octopede!!!  I love how you have experimented with colors... I was a little afraid to to go all out and experiment.  I once was told by an instructor at my junior college that my choices for color in my projects had a tendency to be very loud, and that no business would ever use the colors I was using.  She said she'd never pass me for the certificate I was after, and she was the department head.

The whole discussion left me very careful about colors... in everything I do!

:) Hugs, Peg
How are you?  I'm great!  Glad to see you! Hope we meet again!

Oh Peg.. she just had to be wrong... in my opinion, the brighter the better.  Be bold!!!  Whatcha been working on lately?  I have to thank you so much for sharing this project.  I have had an absolute blast with them and am now looking for others like it.  I found the most adorable bunny that I am going to try next.

My latest afghan that I finished yesterday and a hat to match.  The bunny is a new project that I put together tonight.  I read several patterns and went from there to create it.  It was more difficult than the octopus was but it is sure cute.
