Oh yes, I had a feeling I may need more, I knew it was going to be close... just not THAT close.  I have bought yarn for this one every week or two and just worked until I ran out, got more for the next weekend.

I am working on a baby blanket now until I can get over to Michael's this week for yarn.

good thing they still have more,
i know i woulda bought out the hole stock in fear of em runnin out  :Whis:   :laughmao:

think when im done with my last two quilt block ill pick up the knittin needles again n start makin blocks to sew together. ive never done a blanket so i wouldnt know how many skins to buy
i had one skin of yarn n started a blanket, but bb or the cats gets to it n it all unravels, so im stickin with squares next time, i can hide them  :grinnnn:

am i sayin that right? a thing of yarn is called a skin?  :ScratchHead:

They are called skeins...

Fortunately this is a new yarn.  When Michael's had the cream color on sale and told me they would not be carrying that one anymore, I bought them out.  I used all but one skein that I bought so far.  All of the leftovers of the colors in the afghan I have used to make wash clothes and then added any other lil bits of my scrapghan I have going also.  Nothing going to waste here.

I use rubbermaid buckets with lids to hide my projects.  Keeps them clean and safe away from lil fingers.

I am so excited that I was able to finish up a baby blanket that I have had on hold for a while.  Here is the blanket and hat to go along with it.

Very pretty, Triss. Your WIPs list is getting smaller. (WIP = works in progress)

Yep, I like that the list is smaller.  One more baby blanket which is about halfway done, a hat to go with it.  Then I finish the wedding afghan and I started one for Mikey that I would like to have done by Christmas but I can only work on that one when he is at school or sleeping.  Let's see, what else.  I need to make my niece a green scarf for Christmas and finish up wash cloths to go into my gift baskets, I have 12 of those done so far.  I think that is it.

That is really pretty, Wrennie. It is an awesome pattern. I'm stuck on putting my last one together. I just cannot get up steam to finish it yet.

Here it is. My first knifty knitter project. Cute little hat, huh? It's really baby sized. I'm learning! :D I let the rim roll instead of doing the 2 layer folded up kind. Not enough yarn.

That is just adorable Wrennie and that afghan is stunning as well.

I am using the green for my kids hats, would probable use the yellow for an adult one.  Red is perfect for the baby hats though.

Wrennie that afghan is beautiful - so is the little boy.  Your hat is precious.  You know I'm having a new baby in December - well my daughter is.   :Glee:
Little Aubry Lynn would look lovely in that cute hat.   :giggle:  You did say "baby size" didn't you.

Yes it's baby size. Dave guesstimated 0-6 months. He sells kids hats so I guess hes a better size guesser than me.

Finally got my pics uploaded of my latest projects.  All are clickable.

I finished up Melissa's wedding afghan.  This is it, laid out on my queen sized bed.  I am happy with the size and how it all turned out.

And my latest baby blanket and hat for a fried of mine in Ohio who is having her first girl after 3 boys.

And finally, an extra baby hat, and a couple of scarves.  The green one went to my niece in the mail today and I am not sure yet which of my SIL's is getting the blue one.  They all 3 have birthdays in the next month along with another niece.

Thanks Tina... I have been home pretty much all week so that helps me to get stuff done.  And it has been cold so I want to do them also.
