Bonnie, I am not one to be able to sit and do nothing so when I sit and watch my TV shows, that is when I crochet.

Here are my current works in progress.

The first is from the yarn that Tina sent me.  I am loving how this is turning out and I should have neough yarn to make two afghans of these colors.

And these are my two scrapghan which I have added in the yarn that Wrennie sent me.

First is the Ugly Blanket.  It is getting close to done.

And the thicker yarns scrapghan.  I have quite a ways to go on this one.

That peach and white is so fun to work with.  I need to remember how delicate it makes blankets and remember to pick up more of that kind for myself.  It is going to be very pretty.  I love my ugly blanket too.  I think the other one will turn out nice as well and can add to it once I start in on scarves again.

The first of two peach and white afghans.  I just started on the other one last night and I think I am going to do it with a large block of peach on either end with the white in the middle.

What kind of yarn is the peach and white one Triss?

I started both of these near the end of last winter and finally finished them. The white was done on a knifty knitter and the other knit conventionally with "boa" yarn.

So that is "boa" yarn, huh? :grinnnn: I saw some last week and I thought it looked kind of neat, but didn't realize that that is what it is called....

They look pretty and soft, Wrennie...

Wrennie, The white is Patons Be Mine and the Peach is Bernat LuLu.  I need to get a pic of the other blanket I made with the peach and white.  It is done now.

I have that exact same burnt orange and made Lys a boa scarf on the mini knifty knitter loom.  She loves it.  Alyssa also made her first hat on the KK's and gave it to the next door neighbor, she is working on a scarf for Jonny now.

Love the white scarf.  Great idea adding the touch of fun stuff just to the ends.

Melissa finally sent me the picture of the blanket and hat I made for her.  Here it is and also the bunny that goes with it.

And here is the other peaches and cream afghan I made from the yarn that Tina sent me.  I am working on a couple of hats to match both of the peaces and cream afghans.

I like the one you made for Melissa, Triss. It is a cute set. And you did well by the yarn I sent to you too. Thank you for sharing pics. It is good for my soul.

Thanks Tina, I had so much fun with the yarn you sent.  It is so much softer than the stuff I usually use.

Very nice Triss. Cute bunny!

I finally remembered to get a pic of the scarf I made in tunisian crochet.

I think Tunisan and afghan stitch are the same thing aren't they, Wrennie? A long hook with a stopper on the back end. You keep the work on a little like knitting and work it off the hook each row? I have been looking for those hooks for a while.

Tunisian crochet, afghan stitch, also called shepherds knitting,Tricot Crochet, Hook Knitting, Railroad Knitting.
Tina Rita gave me a hook, Laurs gave me a hook, Mary  gave me about 5, if you want one I can send you one, or two. LMK.

I might scream for one when my hands work again, Wrennie.  Thank you.I could not even use one right now. I can barely type here. The mouse is getting tough too. Warmer weather will bring its own relief.
