I finished up the scarves I was working on for Kimmy, my nieces, and SIL as well as Zack's aide.  I also did a blue one but sent that out today before taking a picture.  Here are the others I did.

And this is a new afghan I am working on that is patterned after the log cabin quilt block.  I do not usually make anything for myself but this yarn was a gift and I love the colors so am keeping it for myself.  What do you think?

The scarves are cheerful all laid out like that, Triss. And I am loving the afghan. How large will it be? You deserve something for yourself.

Thanks.  I will make the afghan as large as the yarn lasts.  I have three skeins of each color so it should end up a nice sized throw and it is lightweight which prefer for myself.

Started December 22, finished January 3rd.  I think that is a record for me to complete a full afghan.  This one measures about 5 feet square.  I love how it turned out.

The colors are awesome.  I do not know that I would have ever put those colors together on my own but when I saw them I just knew they would make a perfect striped afghan.

My next project is one for Jonny.  It is a basic light and dark blue in the ripple pattern.  He wants it as wide and long as his bed.  I am doing 4 rows of each color back and forth and so far I have done 4 sections.  It will take a while now that my classes have started.

That is awesome, Triss. I like the colors a lot but probably wouldn't have chosen them either, until I saw yours.

Thanks everyone!  I really enjoyed this one.  It was fun doing something just for me.  Maybe that is why I worked so fast.

Sarah, I made it to snuggle under when I am here at my desk or watching TV.  Right now I am actually sitting on it rather than under it.

I had a bunch of granny squares from a looooooong time ago, I was going to make an afghan with. I took them with me to work yesterday,  couldn't decide what to do with them, should I add more squares maybe in white, between the variegated squares.... thought, I really don't need another afghan since the swap one is in the works. Maybe rip them all apart and make scarves or something. hmmmmmm, so I decided to make a few mini afghans for the snuggle project

Ooooh,aaaaaah, nice Triss!!

Great idea on the snuggle project afghans Wrennie.  What a great thing to do and use up those squares.

I finished up Jonny's afghan and started on an orange and black afghan that will be for the PTA to use in some way.  They had a lot of leftover yarn from the teacher scarves and I volunteered to use it up for a good cause.  I needed a next project too since I was almost done with Jonny's.  Still need to take a picture of his.

I forgot about it Bonnie, I am uploading it right now.   And here we go....

This one is as wide as his bunk bed and almost as long.  He wanted it to fit the inner part of the bed so it did not hang over if that makes any sense.  It would fit flat over a single mattress.

Thank goodness for TV time Tina... if I did not have my shows and football, I would never get projects done.

Eventually all 6 kids will get one, using the colors in Jonny's to go by... Lys will have the light blue and pink, (by request), Mikey Dark Blue/white and Charlie light blue/white.  Dark blue for Partick light for Zack.  They will all match and be different.
